The Flower of Hope Children’s Home

LKSA Sekar Pengharapan stands as a remarkable beacon of hope. Established in 2011 by Mr. Andreas Kang, a South Korean national with a heart for Bali, the home operates under the meaningful tagline “발리 소망의 꽃 보육원,” which translates to “Flower of Hope Children’s Home in Bali.” The institution provides a loving home for orphans, underprivileged children, and those from remote areas of Indonesia who lack access to quality education.

Currently, 22 children are cared for by two dedicated staff members. The foundation’s commitment to education is exceptional, not only sending children to local elementary, middle, and high schools but also providing opportunities for high-achieving students to attend university in Korea.

A Visit to Support and Connect

The purpose of Unicare’s visit was rooted in gratitude and a desire to foster a spirit of family and togetherness. The team focused on providing tangible support by donating essential basic necessities for daily needs, as well as books and stationery to directly support the children’s education.

During the event, the Unicare team had the pleasure of meeting with the founder, Mr. Andreas Kang, his wife, and the staff. They were given a tour of the facility, and most importantly, they focused on building a warm connection to ensure a lasting bond for future visits and collaboration.

A Continuing Commitment to Caring

This initiative is a cornerstone of Unicare Clinic’s identity, driven by a profound belief in its responsibility towards humanity. The ‘Tali Kasih’ program is a cherished monthly routine, serving as a consistent expression of gratitude and compassion. Each month, the team reaches out to a different foundation or orphanage, extending its support beyond Denpasar to various regions, including Badung, Buleleng, Uluwatu, and now, Mengwi. This reflects the company’s core values of care, helpfulness, and creating a positive impact in the community.

The day spent at LKSA Sekar Pengharapan was a poignant reminder of the power of education and a caring environment. Unicare Clinic extends its sincerest hopes for the bright futures of all the children at the home, trusting they will achieve their dreams. This event also serves as a call for wider community awareness to pay attention to those in need, reinforcing Unicare’s unwavering commitment to kepedulian (a deep sense of caring) and equality for all.
