Denpasar, Bali – Upholding its commitment to social responsibility and community care, the team from PT. Unicare Indonesia Gumilang carried out its monthly ‘Kegiatan Tali Kasih’ charity event at Panti Asuhan Putra William Booth Bala Keselamatan on Friday, December 5th, 2025. Located on Jalan Kebo Iwa, Denpasar, this visit was a meaningful opportunity to support and connect with the children and caretakers at the home.

A Home for Character and Independence
Panti Asuhan Putra William Booth, located at Jl. Kebo Iwa No.28, Ubung Kaja, is a well-established institution operating under the Salvation Army (Bala Keselamatan). The home is dedicated to caring for boys from various backgrounds, providing them not only with shelter and education but also with spiritual guidance and character building. The foundation focuses on equipping the children with the skills and discipline necessary to become independent, responsible, and creative individuals as they grow into adulthood.
A Visit of Insight and Support
The visit was driven by a deep sense of gratitude to God and a desire to foster a spirit of family and togetherness. To support the daily operations of the home, the Unicare team provided donations of essential daily necessities. The representatives took the time to explain these contributions to the caretakers, hoping that the supplies would help ease the operational burden and ensure the children’s well-being.
The team also spent valuable time engaging with the caretakers. For approximately thirty minutes, they discussed the history of the orphanage and the children’s daily routines. This conversation provided a deeper understanding of the home’s mission and the dedication required to nurture the children under their care.
Exploring Creativity in the Crafting Room
A highlight of the visit was the tour of the facility, accompanied by the caretaker. The team visited various rooms to see the living conditions, but the most inspiring moment was seeing the crafting room. This special space allows the children to channel their creativity by making custom tumblers, a testament to the home’s effort to teach valuable skills and self-expression.
To conclude the visit, the team and the caretakers gathered for a warm photo session in front of the orphanage, capturing the togetherness of the day. Contact numbers were exchanged to ensure that this bond remains close, paving the way for future visits and continued support.

A Continuing Commitment to Caring
This initiative is a cornerstone of Unicare’s corporate identity. The ‘Tali Kasih’ program is a monthly routine, a consistent expression of gratitude that reaches different foundations and orphanages across Bali each month. This outreach has spanned areas such as Denpasar, Badung, Buleleng, Uluwatu, Mengwi, and will continue to expand to more communities. This reflects the company’s core values of care, helpfulness, and creating a positive impact in the community, especially for children, the disabled, and those in vulnerable situations.
The day at Panti Asuhan Putra William Booth was a poignant reminder of the importance of nurturing creativity and independence in children. Unicare extends its sincerest hopes for the bright future of all the boys at the home. This event also serves as a call to the public for greater awareness to support those in need, reinforcing Unicare’s unwavering commitment to a deep sense of caring, equality, and love for all human beings.
