A Sanctuary for Babies and Mothers
Located in Denpasar, the Metta Mama & Maggha Foundation is a non-profit organization with a profound mission: to provide a “safe house” for abandoned, unwanted, and neglected babies, believing that every child has an equal right to life. The foundation also serves as a vital sanctuary for pregnant women in crisis, offering them shelter, medical care, and support, ensuring they and their children are cared for with love.
A Visit of Support and Connection
Driven by a spirit of gratitude and togetherness, the Unicare team’s purpose was to provide both material and emotional support. They met with the foundation’s dedicated staff and donated essential supplies needed for the daily care of the babies, children, and expectant mothers. The visit was also marked by a moment of deep personal connection, as two representatives were given a special opportunity to interact and play with three of the babies, fostering a bond that the team hopes to continue in the future.
